We want students to be able to bring their mobile phones to school so they are able to contact their parent or carer before or after school if they need to, their safety is our priority. Once in school, mobile phones are to be switched off and in their school bag.
However, the staff and governors take no responsibility for loss or damage to any valuables which students bring to school.
If students bring mobile phones, tablets or any other valuables to school, they are responsible for looking after them.
We do not allow students to use their mobile phones during the school day because we want them to be free to focus on their learning and have conversations in their social times rather than be engaged in social media.
Students may not use mobile telephones either walking to or during lessons.
If mobile phones are seen during the school day being used without authorisation they will be automatically confiscated. Students can collect them at the end of the school day from reception.
