Covid-19: Update from Headteacher

We now have the information we need concerning how to maintain educational provision. We will write to you later this morning with a fuller response. The government’s advice is below but please note that the advice is clear. Wherever possible, children should not be at school from Monday. Covid-19 Update

Following the government’s announcement that schools nationwide are to close from Friday afternoon we would like to reassure students and their families that we are working hard on our contingency plans and will update you on how this will affect you in the coming days and weeks. For the next two days the information contained in the headteacher’s letter remains current. The letter can be found here.

School closed to Yr8 & 9 students on Wednesday 18th March

Tomorrow we will be closed for both Year 9 and Year 8 students because we know we will have even fewer teachers in school tomorrow. Closing for particular year groups allows us to re-deploy teachers of those year groups to help keep Year 10 and 11 at school and studying for their GCSEs. Ofsted Inspection – January 2020
